The Comedy and Vocal talent of
Dave Kristian
Home Biography TV & Radio Theatre Cabaret Cruising Clips Mail

Dave is a firm favourite appearing as guest cabaret artist for all of the major cruise lines. He cannot simply be categorised as 'comedian' or ' vocalist' as each performance has a definite theme moulded into an act and not just a collection of jokes and songs thrown together without thought or direction.

Dave began his cruising career as a show singer for Rex Greys 'Talk of the Town Show' on board the MV Amerikanis. However his own short cabaret within the shows proved so successful that the natural progression was to develop his own headline act.

Dave is now a firm favourite appearing as guest cabaret artist for most major cruise lines including Cunard, P&O, Chrystal and Fred Olson lines. Indeed he was one of only a handful of cabaret acts exclusively selected to perform on the 5 star luxury yacht Sea Goddess, sailing the French and Italian Riviera.

The summer of 2004 saw him performing on the world's newest and most prestigious cruise liner Queen Mary 2 when he was chosen as the headline act during the ship's stay in Athens for the Olympic Games.

A full diary year upon year is testament to Dave's distinctly original stand-up comedy and the recurring high ratings he continues to deliver.

'Comedian Dave Kristian is exactly the kind of whitty, quick, well-rehearsed patter merchant that should be well at home on board cruise ships. With an act designed to suit this very specific market, his poems and comedy songs, one in the style of the great Rob Wilton, will be lapped up by the cruise holiday makers.' - Mark Ritchie, The Stage 2009

'Always a pleasure to work with' - Ray Price Evans, Musical Director QE2

'A real professional who always delivers' - John Butts, Cunards Executive Cruise Director

'Brings the audience into his fraught and often vulnerable life. Invites them to witness all the failings and frailties... oh and funny, very funny.' - Mike Canney, Sunderland Echo
